What I Teach

Business Analysis & Emerging Technologies at Conestoga College

I design and deliver courses that prepare students to operate at the intersection of technology, strategy, and responsible innovation.

As a Curriculum Guide for Business Analysis, I shaped the course to reflect how product and technology roles actually work: translating stakeholder needs, prioritizing under constraints, and building systems people can trust.

My courses bridge business strategy, AI, data platforms, and ethics, teaching the skills that matter in modern technology roles.

  • Requirements gathering and stakeholder translation.

Prioritization frameworks: impact vs. effort, RICE scoring, roadmapping, MVP building, SDLC.

    Cross-functional alignment and agile execution.

    Decision-making under real-world constraints.

  • What problems AI solves (and what it doesn't)?

Data architecture: governance, analytics, and enterprise systems.

    Adoption challenges and organizational readiness.

Platform economics: build vs. buy, vendor evaluation.

  • Students work through real enterprise case studies on forecasting, decision automation, data visualization, learning to ask:

Is this the right use case?

Do we have the right data?

    How do we measure success?

    What are the ethical implications?
